Ioannis Stathakis is a lawyer admitted before the Courts of First Instance who specializes in data protection and privacy issues with a focus on the implementation of new technologies. He is an alumnus of the Law & Technology LL.M in Tilburg University.

At ALG, he delivers tailor-made, comprehensive and industry-specific solutions of data protection compliance for a diverse range of clients in the pharma industry. Ioannis provides advisory services for the entirety of a client’s journey in data protection compliance – from data mapping exercises and risk assessment of sensitive data sets, to policy drafting and vendor management.

Apart from his contribution to long term compliance projects, Ioannis’ experience with distinct corporate functions and business units enables him to work together independently with client teams for the quick and lawful implementation of smaller-scale localized projects in Europe: from the launch of mobile apps and marketing campaigns to the implementation of employment benefit schemes and covid-19 protection measures.
